These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TopSignal (topsignal.app and related services, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms describe how the product works in practice. They are not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer.
TopSignal provides Domain Talent Interviews, Domain Signal / verification progress, portfolios, and matching between candidates and companies. Features may change as we improve the product. Domain Signal and related scores are TopSignal assessment aids — not certifications, licenses, or guarantees of employment or hiring outcomes.
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law (and meet any age requirements in our Privacy Policy). One person or organization per account unless we agree otherwise. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.
You may upload a resume, take Domain Talent Interviews, build a profile/portfolio, and apply to matched roles. You represent that information you submit is truthful and that you have the right to share it. Do not misrepresent experience, identity, or specialty.
Interview integrity: Interviews may record your screen and face, capture attention / eye-open signals, and be reviewed by assigned reviewers or admins. By starting an interview you consent to that capture and review for integrity and scoring. Do not use proxies, share session access, spoof media, or otherwise bypass integrity controls.
You may share hiring requirements and receive matched Domain Talent through TopSignal. Use the Service only for legitimate hiring. Do not scrape, resell, or misuse candidate data obtained through the product, and comply with employment and privacy laws that apply to you.
If you review interviews or otherwise access candidate media as staff or a Domain Expert, you must keep that material confidential, use it only for authorized review, write accurate reports, and not copy or share recordings outside the product except as we expressly allow.
You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, profile text, portfolio links, interview responses, and similar). You grant TopSignal a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, review, match, and improve the Service (including via subprocessors and AI providers described in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your content and for not infringing others' rights.
The Service, branding, software, playbooks, UI, and documentation are owned by TopSignal or its licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no license is granted. Do not copy, reverse engineer (except where law forbids that restriction), or create competing datasets by scraping the Service.
Parts of the Service use automated or AI-assisted processing (for example resume parsing or interview-related features). Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing material that matters to you. AI features are provided as-is and do not create a professional or employment advice relationship.
Company fees for TopSignal Hire may be agreed in writing (including subscription or volume arrangements). We may change pricing for future use with notice. Taxes are your responsibility where applicable.

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including licenses already exercised, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free AI or matching, particular interview outcomes, or that any candidate or company will hire or be hired.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOPSIGNAL AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
You will defend and indemnify TopSignal against claims arising from your content, your misuse of candidate or company data, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where law requires a different process.
Unless a separate written agreement with you says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the courts located in Taipei, Taiwan, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect the Service or users. If you are a consumer with mandatory local rights, those rights still apply where they cannot be waived.
